When settlers first arrived in the Americas, they destroyed the abundance & wealth of knowledge being cultivated by the indigenous peoples.

Today, for the first time in five centuries, in the face of ecological discordance, we can hear these voices, seemingly for the first time.

The Ancestral-Future Initiative seeks to understand Traditional Knowledge for-itself, and then further, its practical implications for life in the 21st century, from land management to agroecology, and beyond.
